ABUSE OF SEXUAL FUN
· Sexual Harassment is largely a form of gender discrimination based on Sex and use of harm to acquire sexual fun through force and harming the other emotionally
For explicitly and clearer explanation of the term sexual harassment, it is pertinent to begin this write up my making a critical examination of the concept reference to Oxford Advanced learners dictionary which explains it as comments about sex physical contact etc that a person finds annoying and offensive
Sexual harassment constitutes of forced sexual activity, sexual advances, statements about sexual favors and other verbal and physical nature that interferes with someone’s life and ability to function actively. It is possible that the offenders can be completely unaware that their actions are offensive. They may not even have sexual intentions toward the victim.
In truth, victims of sexual harassment, unlike rape victims who know when they are raped, often do not understand what they are experiencing they are often blamed for this reason they do not talk about it
EFFECTS OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT

§ GUILT: When the victim’s is being blamed for what has happened he/she begins to feel guilty for what has happened.
OTHER EFFECTS INCLUDE
§ Anxiety and Panic.
§ Depression.
§ Defamation of Character and Reputation.
§ Shame, guilt and self blame.
· Difficulty in concentration.
o Fatigue and loss of motivation.
§ Sleeplessness (which often leads to persistent Headache and High blood pressure).
§ Loss of confidences and self esteem
§ Loss of trust on people,
§ Feeling betrayed violated.
